To provide an extra creative outlet during lockdown, and to pay tribute to (and justify yet another rereading of) his favorite book series, Joe launched THE CHURCH OF THE COSMIC TURTLE in September of 2020. Breaking down Stephen King’s epic magnum opus into 52 serialized segments, Joe published essays every Tuesday discussing the chapters that were covered that week, ending on the same day it began one year later. Though no longer actively posting, Joe’s blog continues to attract Dark Tower fans from all over the world, generating hundreds of monthly views.
